Citizen Service & Information Bureau


Nicosia Municipality has established a Citizen Service and Information Bureau, the objective of which is to provide citizens of Nicosia with the best and swiftest possible services in the shortest amount of time.
 
The Citizen Service and Information Bureau
  • Furnishes all manner of information relating to the city and the services provided by the Municipality;
  • Responds to citizens’ queries and questions;
  • Accepts and makes a note of suggestions, which are relayed to the Municipality’s competent bodies;
  • Accepts and makes a note of all demands and/or problems brought to its attention by citizens, forwards these issues for their direct and swift resolution, monitors the handling of these issues and informs citizens of the outcome;
  • keeps citizens appraised of projects carried out in Nicosia
The Citizen Service and Information Bureau aims to constantly improve the efficiency of municipality services and to qualitatively upgrade the services on offer.
 
A novel system has been introduced, where citizens may visit the various points of contact, or call a dedicated phone line to obtain information on issues of concern relating to the services offered by the municipality.
