Eleni Charalambous and Christos Fountos, two young artists from Cyprus who are pursuing careers in Italy and England respectively, meet for the first time on the stage of the Nicosia International Festival and the Nicosia Municipal Theater, offering a fresh musical proposal, introducing the world of opera and classical song to younger generations. Their vision is to take the audience on a multicultural musical journey through a unique piano and voice recital, where classical pieces and operatic arias from different parts of the world will be heard.

Emblematic arias as well as lesser-known classical songs from various countries such as Italy, Spain, Germany, France, England, Russia, Greece, and others, come to life on stage with the particular timbre and sensitivity of Eleni Charalambous combined with the virtuosity of Christos Fountos on the piano. A common characteristic of these melodies is the power of speech, an inexhaustible source of inspiration for every composer. The purpose of the two artists is to experience different cultures through music and speech as they invite both the Cypriot and the international public living in Cyprus to join them in a special evening, with an overtone of a fusion of melodies, confirming the fact that there are no boundaries.

Different cultures and cultural heritages come together on stage to showcase distinct cultural expressions, languages, music, and narratives. This performance will be an opportunity to preserve international cultural heritage as well as a proposal to encourage artistic exploration.

In terms of accessibility, the performance will include subtitles in English and Greek.
