Taxes: the department’s work consists of

• Budget drafting and budgetary control
• Expenditure control and spending
• Receipt of payments
• Cash-flow control
• Issue of financial statements

 
Taxes and all fees are payable at the municipality’s cash register, all commercial banks, via e-payment online at www.nicosiamunicipality.org.cy, at the Internet Banking websites of commercial banks, and at the JCC Smart website.
 
The cash register receives payments for:

• Professional tax
• Garbage collection fees
• Business premises licenses
• Municipal immovable property fees
• Alcohol licenses
• Tobacco licenses
• Dog licenses
