Nicosia Municipal Theatre
The International Institute of Inter-Balkan Cooperation Rigas Velestinlis and the Municipalities of Zitsa Ioannina, Kastoria, Nicosia, Riga Feraios, Siatista and Chios take turns every year to organize commemorative and honorary events for our national hero Riga Velestinlis and his companions who come from these municipalities and were martyred at the Nebojsa Tower in Belgrade in 1798.
