The Nicosia International Festival in collaboration with the Cultural Tourism Company Discover Greek Culture organizes the action “Literary Walks 1821”.
It is historical and literary walk, a 60-minute walk to the landmarks and monuments of the city associated with the Greek Revolution and is divides into three stops.
The walk will start from the Archdiocese Square and the first stop will be the Old Archdiocese. The second stop will be the house of Hadjigeorgakis Kornesios and the last will be the precinct of the church of Faneromeni, where there is also the cenotaph of Archbishop Kyprianos and other martyrs of July 9, 1821.
