The Nicosia Municipality Multifunctional Foundation, in collaboration with the British Council, announces the launch of Skills Lab for Young Women, a new training initiative aimed at empowering young women aged 18 - 29 through leadership and entrepreneurship skill development.
 
Starting in February, the program consists of four interactive training sessions, taking place on Saturdays from 10:00 to 12:00 (14/02, 28/02, 14/03, 28/03) at KEEAED, followed by a final networking and celebration event at the end of April.
 
The training series is designed to support young women in building practical skills, confidence, and meaningful connections, while fostering a strong and supportive community. Through hands-on workshops and participatory learning, participants will explore key topics such as:
 
- Negotiation and Leadership Skills
- Working with Others and Team Collaboration
- Marketing and Communication Basics

Participants who successfully complete the program will receive a certificate of completion and will have the opportunity to engage in a networking event, connecting with peers, trainers, and stakeholders.
The initiative aims to strengthen young women’s leadership potential, enhance employability and entrepreneurial readiness, and promote collaboration and peer support.
